Your privacy is important to TM TKO. This page describes what kind of information we collect, when and how we might use that information, how we protect the information, who has access to it, and what choices you have with respect to your personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected online from customers and users of the tmtko.com website. It does not apply to any other website.

Our website may contain links to sites maintained by others. This Privacy Policy does not reflect the privacy practices of those sites and if you have any questions about the privacy practices associated with those sites, please review the privacy policy posted on those sites.

What personal information does TM TKO collect?

We collect information about our users in four ways: 1) directly from the user, 2) from our Web server logs, 3) from third-party sites, and 4) through cookies. We use the information primarily to provide you with a personalized Internet experience that delivers the information, resources, and services that are most relevant and helpful to you.

1. User-Supplied Information

When you express interest in or register for our services, we ask you to provide some personal information (such as your employer, name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and more). We keep this information in a contact database for future reference. We may use the information you provide to provide information or offers to you about TM TKO's products or services, or our business partners’ products and services that we believe may be of interest to you. If you do not want to receive such offers, you may opt out (unsubscribe) as described below.

If you contact us for customer support, we may ask you to provide information about your computer or about the technical or search issues you are trying to resolve. This information is necessary to help us answer your questions. We may record your requests and our responses for quality control purposes.

2. Web Server Logs

When you visit our website, we may track information about your visit and store that information in web server logs, which are records of the activities on our site. Our servers automatically capture and save the information electronically. Examples of the information we may collect include:

The information we collect in web server logs helps us administer the site, analyze its usage, and improve its content.

3. Third Party Services

We may use services of third parties, such as analytics services, to help us understand how our website is used. These services may collect information sent by a browser as part of a web page request, including IP addresses or cookies. If these third party services collect information, they do so anonymously and in the aggregate to provide information helpful to us such as website trends, without identifying individual visitors. Please see "Cookies" in the section below for information on how you can control the use of cookies on your computer.

If you follow a link from TM TKO’s site to a business partner, or vice versa, both sites may track the activity. This allows both companies to track, for example, advertising conversion rates.

4. Cookies

In order to offer and provide a customized and personal service, we may use cookies to store and help track information about you. Cookies are simply small pieces of data that are sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies to help remind us who you are and to help you navigate our site during your visits. Cookies allow us to save some passwords and preferences for you so you won't have to re-enter them each time you visit.

Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. However, if you prefer, you can set your browser to either notify you when you have received a cookie, or to refuse to accept cookies. Some features may not function properly if you don't accept cookies.

How does TM TKO use the information?

We use the information primarily to provide you with a personalized Internet experience that delivers the information, resources, and services that are most relevant and helpful to you. The information we collect helps us administer the site, analyze its usage and to improve its content as well as its functionality.

How does TM TKO protect personal information that it collects?

TM TKO operates entirely using the secure web protocol Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS). TM TKO encrypts all personal information “at rest” and “in transit” to help protect your personal information. We have implemented and may implement certain appropriate security measures to help protect your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will always be successful.

Who has access to the information that TM TKO collects?

We will not sell, rent, or lease mailing lists or other customer data to others, and we will not make your personal information available to any unaffiliated parties, except as follows:

We also rely on vendors for certain functions. We use Amazon’s AWS (privacy policy) for data storage and cloud computing processing services. We use Braintree Payments and PayPal (privacy policy) for credit card processing services in a way that only those vendors (and not TM TKO, LLC) have any access to credit card information. We may use additional services from time to time.

The Knockout Analysis tool (summarization/note-drafting feature) and other document-drafting tools rely on large language models. These may not be hosted by TM TKO directly; if not, we will share information necessary to complete the project with the model. The information is limited to the content relevant to the project (e.g. the mark/goods in a search report) and will not include your personal information; any information is shared under contract terms providing that this information cannot be further shared or used for training purposes.

We will not disclose any information about your usage to unaffiliated third parties, except as necessary to service the account, to enforce the terms of use, to meet our obligations to content and technology providers, or as required by law.

Your access to some of our services and content is password protected. Don’t share it with others. If your computer is not physically secure, sign out of your account at the end of each session – especially if you are using a public or shared computer.

TM TKO may use servers in many countries, and you agree that TM TKO may store and process your personal information in systems located outside of your home country. We take reasonable steps to maintain the security of the personally identifiable information that we collect, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database servers, encrypting data “at rest” and “in transit,” and using electronic security systems that guard against unauthorized access. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us, so you do so at your own risk.

How do I correct, amend, or delete my personal information and/or update my preferences?

If you do not want to receive product or service information or offers from TM TKO, please utilize the “unsubscribe" mechanism in the communications that you receive from us or you may also contact us via e-mail as ask to unsubscribe to some or all communications from TM TKO. You can also change your preferences in your account settings.
